Social Media layout design
I designed the Instagram icons using the primary and secondary colours of the brand. Simple linework was used to keep the icons clean and easy to understand.
For their social media feed, I was inspired by bookmark shapes since the client works with authors. When an author was invited to be a part of a post, the colours were changed to relate to the colours of their books.
Microstories Event on Twitter
My client hosted a special event for their authors where they were asked to write microstories on Twitter. We used various social media platforms to promote the event.
To present the authors to the public, we used both Twitter and Instagram Stories. We also made animated GIFs to catch people’s attention while they scrolled.
