Logo
The Maned Wolf is an unique creature. They are not actually a wolf despite their appearance and are the only member of their genus. The Maned Wolf is a very solitary animal that keeps exploring through the tall grass for an opportunity to eat. I was drawn to this animals individual yet industrious spirit when creating a brand identity and logo. It’s name in the indigenous Tupi language means “red” a very powerful colour for both animals and brands.
The triangle motif is an abstract representation of mountains. Though the Maned Wolf lives in plains in its homeland, the logo represents its new home in the Canadian Rockies. This represents the journey I made to seek a new life in a country far from home.

Social Media
As for any brand, social media has become a major part of the marketing strategy. To keep the branding cohesive I wanted to create a recognizable layout that was also flexible for many different applications and products. The layout creates a pattern when viewed as a whole, something with further reinforces the brand identity.
